Never Enough Single Cover

Tim Pinter III AKA Timmy The Boy began his musical journey at the age of 17 with earbuds and an old laptop.

The singer has come a long way playing notable gigs and events such as Lil Whyte and Kstylis, Performed at the Odd Mall Music Festival in Alliance Ohio and headlined several sold out shows.

With his previous tracks gaining extensive radio play, his brand-new alternative rock single, ‘Never Enough’, could very well be the one to put Alliance on the map.

Producers Nelyk, Hieloways, Josh Beacom, Alex Artimez  and artistic guidance from Kaelynn Kemp with video production by Jeep DiCicio, Tim’s upcoming album should be one on your radar.

Tim’s inspiration comes from Rex Orange County’s live album and ‘Never Enough’ is a song based on the mind set of majority of males, according to Tim.

With either bad luck or perhaps just the wrong girl, it seems that no matter how much he tried in giving to his girl, it was ‘Never Enough’

‘I could give the world to a girl and they want to burn it. So, I took that raw emotion and put it into a song’, say’s Tim.

It hasn’t all been smooth sailing during the recording stages, as his life was turned upside with unfortunate circumstances relating to his step-father attending rehabilitation, making this particular time in Tim’s life, rather taxing.

So, as an ode to the boys who gave it their all, but it’s just never enough, take a listen to this groove alternative rock track, ‘Never Enough’ and keep your head high.

Female Fronted Rock Queens, High Grass Smashing New Single, Tonight

After forming in Cuba, now based in Los Angeles, alt-rock outfit High Grass write ambitious and frank songs about relationships and day to day life with darker, more introspective undertones. Inspired to empower the next generation, their latest single ‘Tonight’  hopes to motivate people to be true to themselves and to always follow their dreams.

Originally from Moscow, Russia, High Grass’ front woman Kristina Miranda moved to Cuba in 2010, joining forces with Marciel in 2012, where High Grasswas born. With Cuba being an isolated country, with hardly any internet until 2015, there was a time that Rock and Roll music was banned and could only be found in the underground scene. Despite limited resources, High Grass recorded their music in their bedroom’s. Rock is still known in Cuba for its rebel expression, which is why High Grass create music to bring attention to the struggles that people experience living there.

It wasn’t long before they started making quite a name for themselves over in Cuba, collecting nominations for The Best Rock Band of Cuba at the “Cuerda Viva” and performing at Havana World Music Festival (2015). It was in that period that High Grass captured the attention of multi-Grammy producer Jacquire King and talented artist, Christian Paschall (Maren Morris’ drummer) who were the first influential figures in the industry to grasp the potential in the band. Since then, High Grass have collaborated with them on several future releases.

When speaking more on ‘Tonight’, High Grass’ lead vocalist Kristina explained

“We wrote the song “Tonight” back in Cuba in 2012. This song is about finding your path and being true to yourself. It was inspired by my decision to move from Moscow to Havana, where Marciel and I met and started the band. It was hard to leave my family and friends, but this decision has totally changed my life. I have no idea what it would be like if I hadn’t made this choice, and believe it is essential to follow your instincts to find yourself”.

High Grass are currently nearing the official release of their EP, which will contain 5 tracks, written and recorded by the band back in Cuba.

Indie Rockers Gaspar Sanz New Song Inspired by Cheryl the Cat

Indie Rock New Song

Indie Rockers Gaspar Sanz New Song Inspired by Cheryl the Cat

‘Cheryl’ is the first single for 2020 from Sydney indie-rockers Gaspar Sanz. Known for their energy and infectious sense of play, the band’s newest song draws inspiration from an unlikely source.

“This song was inspired by a cat called Cheryl who used to live with Jimmy (singer) and Sammy (drummer). Cheryl was a stray who was living on the roof of our other flatmate’s previous residence and after a period of time, he ended up adopting her. She was very old and had a litany of health issues, but was a beautiful and gentle old soul, who had clearly seen some shit. The meows that are featured in the song are from Cheryl herself. Jimmy followed her around the apartment with a microphone for about half an hour to capture them.”

Despite the simplicity of the song’s namesake, the lyrics delve deeper, exploring the parables between human relationships and those we have with feline companions.

“Cats are extremely complicated and difficult. Loving anyone, in any capacity, is never unconditional or uncomplicated, it requires constant attention and comprise, much like a relationship with a feline.”

‘Cheryl’ was recorded at Golden Retriever Studios in Marrickville with producer Oscar Dawson.
